Cait has been the Editor of 5 News for 5 years. In 2022, she oversaw the successful relaunch and expansion of 5 News at 5 to an hour duration with the new presenting line-up of Dan Walker and Claudia-Liza Vanderpuije. The programme also enjoyed its most successful year for awards last year winning two MJA awards and one from the Society of Editors.

Cait has also worked for Sky News and ITV News as well as making special programmes for general elections and royal weddings. She spent time on the road - covering everything from elections to music festivals, including Sky News' coverage of the Asian Tsunami and its Bafta award-winning work on the Soham murders.

As a member of ITN's senior leadership team, Cait is involved in setting the strategy and direction of the company. She's committed to improving the diversity of newsrooms and has a particular interest in improving the representation of people from across the regions and nations of the UK.
