Hannah Cheers is Executive Producer of Hollyoaks, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary as C4’s flagship soap. Since returning to Hollyoaks, she has successfully overseen the move from five to three episodes a week, increasing viewership and youth engagement. Hannah began her love affair with soap production on Hollyoaks, where she began her career in the story office in 2009. She story-produced, produced and series-produced the show across 2012-2021. During this period Hollyoaks was BAFTA nominated, won two Best British Soap Awards, two Broadcast awards and two Royal Television Society Awards. Hannah also worked as Story Producer on Coronation Street from 2015-2017 worked as a producer on Emmerdale.
