Helen Perry leads UKTV’s original drama slate, which includes The Marlow Murder Club, the reimagining of Bergerac, and Outrageous - the story of the Mitford sisters. Since joining UKTV Helen has also commissioned Mark Gatiss’ Bookish, S4C co-pro, Mudtown, and overseen Chris Lang’s I, Jack Wright. Previously, Helen was a Commissioning Editor for Drama at ITV working on titles including Mr Bates vs The Post Office and Playing Nice, and returning series such as DI Ray, Professor T, The Bay and Grantchester. Before ITV, Helen was an Assistant Commissioner for BBC Drama working across development and production, and exec-ing Steeltown Murders and The Pact. Prior to that Helen was Script Executive at Bad Wolf on acclaimed drama, Industry. Helen has also worked as a Development Producer for BBC Writers’ Room and began her career as an award-winning audio drama producer/director for BBC Radio/Sounds.
