
James Burstall is CEO and founder of multi award-winning, hyper-converged superindie Argonon, one of the UK’s largest truly independent groups, headquartered in London, New York, Los Angeles, Liverpool and Glasgow.
James founded Argonon in 2011, bringing together world-class independent production companies, spanning all genres, producing for broadcasters and platforms around the world. Argonon’s eight production companies include Bandicoot (The Masked Singer) Leopard Pictures (Worzel Gummidge), Windfall Films (Unearthed), Like a Shot (Abandoned Engineering), BriteSpark Films (Dispatches), Leopard USA (House Hunters International), Studio Leo and branded content expert Nemorin.
Previously, James founded Leopard Films, specialising in returnable factual series including the international formats Cash in the Attic, and Missing and Leopardrama, producers of the global award-winning An Englishman in New York, starring John Hurt and Cynthia Nixon.
