
One of Scotland’s most respected broadcasters, Sony Award winner Janice Forsyth currently presents her own daily afternoon arts and music show for BBC Radio Scotland – as well as the station’s Edinburgh Festival audience shows and live commentary of the annual Proms in the Park and Opening Night for Radio 4. She also hosts The Scottish Book Trust’s Authors’ Live UK-wide webcasts with top children’s writers, and is sought after as a presenter for live events and awards ceremonies.
Janice has a lifelong love of the arts and worked in the Scottish culture scene before moving into arts journalism, as an editor, feature writer and columnist for a range of a national publications, and as a TV presenter and producer of arts, film, music, books, debate and even cookery shows for STV, BBC and Channel 4. She is currently Chair of The Rothesay Pavilion restoration project on the Isle of Bute.
