Jo Street is the Director of Commissioning, Nations and Regions & Head of Lifestyle at Channel 4 where she oversees a huge slate of some of the most popular returning series on the channel, like Great Pottery Throwdown, Location, Location, Location, Extraordinary Extensions, Kirstie & Phil’s Love it or List it, Come Dine With Me, Renovation Rescue, Countdown… Based out of the Glasgow Hub of C4, she manages a commissioning team that is spread across the UK and is a passionate advocate for commissioning Out of London & a champion of Nations & Regions production companies. Prior to joining C4 she had 25 years at the BBC where, amongst other things she directed Countryfile, Exec’d the Weakest Link and commissioned the long running returning series The Hit List, Antiques Road Trip & Money For Nothing.
