Jon Swain is Managing Director at Shine Television. A leading producer of factual production, Shine’s extensive output includes the MasterChef titles (BBC One), Hunted, (Channel 4) Rick Stein’s Cornwall (BBC Two), Changing Rooms (Channel 4) and many more.

Before joining Shine, Jon was Head of Unscripted Productions at BBC Studios for 5 years, where he oversaw over 300 hours of output for the BBC, winning a range of new commissions from 4, ITV, YouTube and BBC3. Prior to that, he held various roles at Optomen Television, including Head of Factual Entertainment and Director of Development, and executive produced and developed a range of formats from The F Word to Great British Menu.
