Kelly Ann Woodland presents the flagship programme, STV News at Six, each weeknight to around half a million viewers. She started her broadcasting career in local radio but moved quickly into television and has been with STV for the past 18 years. Starting as a News Assistant, Kelly Ann progressed to production journalist then reporter, and now co-anchors the main news programme in the central region with John Mackay – a role she took on in 2018. During her time at STV, Kelly Ann has reported on some of the biggest stories in Scotland, including live from the scene of the shooting incident in Glasgow’s city centre in 2020, the Cameron House Hotel fire and fronting the NHS’s 70th anniversary live from hospital.
