The Creative Cities Convention was founded in 2018 in response to the rapid growth of the screen sector outside London, echoing a desire felt across the political and industry spectrum to better reflect communities across the UK. We're an annual event and visit a different city each year.
The CCC is the UK’s only meeting place for creative people working in film, TV and digital outside London

Scheduling will be based on each commissioner’s availability.
Yes, we will let you know ahead of the convention which commissioner(s) would like to meet you and when.
The commissioners will receive the pitches of all the successful applicants they are meeting.
We are not able to connect you with commissioners outside of the sessions at the convention.
It is up to you to lead your one-to-one meeting and agree any further contact.
Yes, only convention delegates may attend the Commissioner One-to-One meetings. However, if you do not yet have a ticket when you find out that you have been asked to attend a one-to-one, then you will be able to buy a ticket at that time, if there are tickets still available.
The Skills Summit 2026 was a two-day event. Day One was for mid-level career freelancers who have a minimum of three professional credits. Day Two was for young people with a proven interest in the creative industries. Day Two was by invite via schools, FE colleges and apprenticeship programmes.
The Skills Summit is open to mid-level career freelancers and young people interested in the screen and creative content industries.
Participants will gain practical insights through hands-on training as well as masterclasses discussing the most important topics of the day.
