What is Creative Cities Convention?

The Creative Cities Convention (CCC) is the UK’s leading meeting place for creative people making or distributing network screen content outside London – now a multi-million pound business that’s transforming the creative economy in Britain’s big cities and helping improve the representation of audiences in all four corners of the country.

The CCC was founded in 2018 and enjoys full stakeholder support from all the terrestrial broadcasters – BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel5/Paramount – as well as the independent sector through its trade body Pact. We prize highly our editorial independence and we seek to reflect our industry from all perspectives.

Each year the conference moves to a different major city and so far we’ve visited Leeds, Cardiff, Glasgow (online), Birmingham, Newcastle, Bristol and most recently Bradford.
